Chief Entertainment is a leading Australian new-media content production and encoding company, specialising in internet broadcasting and boutique television production.
Established in 2000, Chief has made its mark on the media landscape through the production and webcasting of live music concerts, product launch presentations, corporate videos, commercially released DVD’s and CD’s and the ABC-TV series ‘Live at the Basement’ which is now in its 10th season on air every Thursday night from around 10:30pm.
Chief has pioneered new directions and initiatives in web streaming. For 4 years Chief Entertainment produced a 24/7 broadband internet TV music channel for Telstra Bigpond known as ‘The Basement’. This included live presenters, local and international studio guests, as well as live concerts direct from the stage of the famous Basement Nightclub in Circular Quay, Sydney.
